Together Verdantas: Giving Back to Our Communities & Environment
December 18, 2025
At Verdantas, community engagement is more than a priority; it’s part of our culture. Through the Together Verdantas initiative, we celebrate the dedication of our team members who give their time and resources to support the communities we serve. In recent months, our offices have taken part in a variety of volunteer and philanthropic efforts, making a lasting impact close to home.
Ohio Region Future City Competition | Columbus, OH
In January, Verdantas supported STEM education by volunteering at the 2026 Ohio Region Future City Competition in Columbus, Ohio. Gabrielle Martin served as a judge, helping evaluate middle school students’ scale models and presentations centered on sustainability and innovative city design.
The event was an inspiring opportunity to encourage young engineers and problem-solvers while reinforcing Verdantas’ commitment to education and community engagement.

Harris Elementary Food Pantry Support | Fort Collins, CO
Thanks to contributions from our Fort Collins team, Harris Elementary School recently launched its first drive-thru food pantry operation—creating a more accessible and sustainable way to support students and families in need. These contributions helped the school obtain a new refrigerator, expanding their ability to store and distribute food more effectively.
The newly reconfigured pantry is already supporting the community in meaningful ways, with an organized system in place to serve families better. School leadership noted the positive impact of this resource, as it continues to provide dependable support for families. It’s a powerful example of how Verdantas contributions can help create lasting change and strengthen the communities we serve.

Sparsh Shelter Home Visit | Pune, India
Carrying forward the spirit of Holi, our Verdantas International Shared & Technical Advantage (VISTA) team came together for a meaningful visit to Sparsh Shelter Home in Pune. The group donated stationery and essential care items while spending a joyful evening with the children, sharing games, food, laughter, and meaningful conversation.
Beyond the donations, the experience was about building connections and giving back as a team. Witnessing the children’s enthusiasm and sharing simple moments of joy made the impact of the day even more powerful.
It was a heartwarming reminder of how small acts of kindness can create a lasting impact and strengthen the communities we care about.
