Verdantas has been actively engaged in managing dredged sediment for decades for major ports.  Due to the lack of disposal capacity and cost, as well as perceived environmental impacts, we have advocated for policies that allow for a sustainable use of the material.  As a pilot project, we worked with the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority to complete design, permit preparation, construction specification reparation, construction oversight, and construction project management activities.
