This new intersection near Polaris Fashion Place creates east-to-west access for traffic visiting businesses on Lyra Drive.

Our Team (as CT Consultants) provided Site & Roadway Engineering services for both phases of the project. Phase I was the first part of an essential link between East Powell Road and Gemini Place. The project involved all aspects of a major roadway design, including over 3,300 ft of roadway and pavement design, water line, sanitary sewer, multi-use path, traffic signal design, street lighting, and hydraulic and hydrologic design.

Phase II, the East Powell Road Roundabout, improves mobility and connectivity and relieves congestion in the area.

Both projects share a storm sewer system and stormwater management basins as a regional solution. This project also included new sanitary and water line features.

Additionally, the project required right-of-way plans that included right-of-way owned by the City of Columbus and Delaware County. 

We prepared an OPWC funding application on an aggressive schedule, which included preparing exhibits for a public meeting to satisfy the requirements of OPWC.
