Verdantas has served as the primary civil engineer for the Owl’s Nest Resort in Thornton, NH since 2016. This 160‑acre, multi‑phase development requires strong coordination and communication across a large team of stakeholders. Verdantas has provided comprehensive engineering services throughout the project, including:

• Engineering support for the development of a new Large Community Water System, including the design and construction of more than 5,000 feet of water main.
• Groundwater exploration and testing to identify three high‑yield overburden production well locations.
• Design and permitting for a new 9‑hole short‑course golf facility.
• Water distribution main design and permitting, along with a separate dedicated fire‑suppression main.
• Design and permitting for multiple onsite septic disposal systems.
• Design and permitting of a 9.5‑acre man‑made recreational pond with beach areas.
• Stormwater system design capable of treating up to the 50‑year extreme precipitation event.
