Woodin Creek Village is an 11-acre mixed-use residential and retail community in downtown Woodinville. The development is an essential part of the City’s vision for creating a new urban street grid and Central Business District identity, including a fully integrated, pedestrian-friendly village that reflects the City’s heritage and surrounding natural environment.
The development comprises several multi-story concrete and wood-framed structures and a network of pedestrian-friendly streets. A prominent 70-foot vehicle and pedestrian bridge serves as a gateway to the community. The project also included designing a single-lane roundabout at NE 171st Street and 135th Avenue NE. Verdantas developed the site's horizontal layout during master planning and completed various tasks, including a topographic survey, horizontal and vertical alignment, grading, drainage, pedestrian and bicycle access, ADA compliance, and channelization. Additionally, Verdantas managed the review process and coordinated approval with the City of Woodinville.
Our team provided civil design and land surveying services for Phases 2 and 3. All buildings are four to five stories tall, with apartments above retail and restaurants. Phase 2 included 350 apartment units across five buildings, two above-grade, multi-story parking garages, stormwater quality design, and the development of streets and sidewalks on both sides of 135th Avenue NE. Phase 3 included approximately 400 units across five buildings.
